EARTH & SKY KIMONO -  Inspired by the designer's favorite way to pastime on a warm, summer afternoon in Canada. She likes to lie on the grass and look up at the clouds through the branches of the beautiful old trees that border Market of Stars headquarter. Earth and Sky was created out of a deep appreciation for those rare afternoons — full of wise ancient trees and wide open skies! Just like the 1800’s Painting (Branches) by British artist Charles Aston.  The palette is a dreamy and meditative play of textures and colors from the natural world. Designer trimmed Aston’s magnificent tree with moths painted in the 1600’s by Dutch master Melchior d’Hondecoete.
